Dear friends of Drill and Chill Climbing Festival 2015! September is here, what a great time to make last summer / early climbing season holiday plans smile emoticon Its only two weeks, preparations are in full effect. We have a great international group already, the updated program will be announced on the weekend!
CALL FOR ROUTESETTERS !
If you are a routesetter and you would like to visit, explore and help us with bolting new routes – be it hard & steep endurance hammers, slabby old-skool stuff, classic ridge line scrambling or establishing some trad lines – please contact us using the contact form. Bolts and anchors will be provided on a first-come first-serve basis, according to the registration on our website.
So we can plan for you, we should have a good idea of: WHO will come, HOW MANY you will be, approximately WHEN and WHAT you would like to do (Bolt or help bolting / volunteer or mainly climb highline, just hang out, hike, etc.)..
So EVERYONE, please take a minute to fill out the registration on the website so we can plan ahead for you. If you plan to BOLT, please tell us if you have or can organize bolting tools for yourself (Drill, rope, Ascension & GriGri).
IF YOU ARE NOT SURE YET, then please write that in the comments.. http://drillandchillfestival.com/contact/
THANKS & HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE FESTIVAL SOON!

We just updated the preliminary program! This is a small pioneer event and a collective effort, so we'll have a little room for adjustments and your input as we go..
Most people will arrive throughout Friday afternoon, so this will be more Chill than Drill. On Saturday morning we'll have the official meet & greet and an area walk for bolters, visitors and volunteers. Afterwards there will be the first (obligatory) bolters meeting where we should coordinate the efforts. Saturday night we'll also have the welcome party in the basecamp, starting at 21:30, there will be a contingent of free beer and a DJ. On the first weekend we should have some highlines and an open door day for media, friends & the general public.
