New guide - new climbing

With the new dorset bouldering guide out  I thought it was time to head to the Isle and see what it has to offer.

I really wasn't disappointed. I headed past the Church Ope boulders and into a brand new sprawling area of boulders and vegetation. Bramble covered scree slopes between the boulders made access in the summer rather tricky, but plenty of boulders to climb on and amazing roof's on solid limestone blocks.

Get off the beaten track on Portland and you'll find fine lines and quiet climbs, although it'll make the cuttings looks like Hyde Park.
